A dear friend has been raising funds in memory of his daughter Caoimhe Harris for 12 years now who died after a short illness at the age of 2. The joy she gave in her short life made Paul and his family want to help other children to lead happy lives and so they chose to raise funds for the NSPCC who offer support to help children who have been abused to rebuild their lives, protect those at risk, and find the best ways of preventing abuse from ever happening. Paul started off wanting to raise £5,000 and to date has raised over £77,000. I’m hoping that I can add to that in memory of Caoimhe.
Every child deserves to be happy.
That’s why the NSPCC are here. That's what drives all our work. And that’s why – as long as there’s abuse – we will fight for every childhood.
